Following the success of delivering Topps Tiles’ latest TV commercial, our next challenge was to produce an 11-advert strong radio campaign. Our aim was twofold: to promote their range of products, service and overall offering, but also to give them a voice. Step forward the ‘Topps Chap’. A friendly, approachable voice that personifies the Topps Tiles’ brand. Voiced by Marc Wootton, each of the 30-second spots championed one of the many benefits of choosing Topps Tiles. All complemented by Location, Location, Location’s Phil Spencer, who adds a reassuring authority to both the ads and the Topps Tiles brand. The campaign ran for over 3 months on TalkSport and Absolute Radio targeting both the trade and retail audience.
